Day two, part two Madrid

We were in a huge hurry to get back to the hotel because we had to leave at 4:15 to head to the PR firm. As soon as we stepped out of the store, it was raining. Well hello rain, couldn’t leave us alone for two weeks? Nope you had to follow the Washigtonians all the way to Madrid, Spain. Sweet! We ran back to the hotel to gather everyone together then hit the streets again. We walked several blocks to catch the metro then got off the metro and walked some more. On the way we saw amazing stores like jimmy choo, prada, dolce and cabana so on. It was fabulous. We finally arrived at the PR firm and it was beautiful. Everyone working there was so young.
There was this cool two door entrance, than another to check in at the front desk. We had to take an elevator to the 6th floor for the meeting room. We looked at the elevator and it was the smallest I’ve ever seen. There was a sliding gate to open then another two pull out doors and the maximum capacity was only 4 people. Insane. So we had to take a few trips to get everyone to the conference room. We’re at the PR firm and everything looks so sleek, simple, modern, and artsy. The vibe and feel of the entire firm was just so great and positive. The presentation seemed to drag considering how tired I was getting but as soon as it ended I was re energized. We hopped on the metro again and headed to the hotel. We got a quick change of clothes then headed to the market for some snacks! I tried finding a plug adapter once again but still no luck. It was too complicated.
Next Stephanie and I tried to visit our favorite pastry shop but sadly it was closed
We decided to head back to the hotel to drop off our groceries before getting some dinner. Our plan was to meet Abby and Alex when we get back because they wanted to eat some dinner too. We head up to our rooms drop off our stuff, I go downstairs to meet with Alex and Abby to let them know my roommates will be right down.
I got back down to the lobby and met with Alex. She was in complete panic mode when I saw her and she had a very good reason. Her entire room was ransacked and personal items were missing. Doris, Abby, and Alex are sharing a room and all their electronics got taken from them today. Laptops, i-pods, cell phones… everything!
They filed a police report right away with the front desk at the hotel. We all tried to get a hold of Cesar but it was taking a while. This could not have been more of a Debbie downer. The whole vibe when down hill exponentially. Eventually Cesar was contacted and immediately took all three girls to the police station to file another report.
